When I visited with the crew they had been working on linkage for all controls; throttle, gear shift, brakes. A main item of concern – custom work for the rider allowing a perfect fit and ability to reach everything comfortably. Engine parts are on order. Rob mentioned that cam shafts and sprockets needed for engine's final assembly, should soon be in hand. And, of course, that means a first test hop isn't far off.
The BUB trials are just a few weeks away and The Eagles in Flight crew is fully focused on the schedule so they can be ready for the challenge.
I'm proud to be associated with AMSOIL and I'm happy to be supplying AMSOIL products for Eagles in Flight to use in the efforts to gain a new record. Rob Tygret, head mechanic/engine builder and Eagles owner, tells of a particular problem at the flats, that is: the salt tends to eat motorcycle chains for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I suggested AMSOIL Heavy Duty MP, Rob agreed. Heavy Duty MP, as motorcycle chain lube, would be put to the ultimate test. I'm looking forward to hear how one of our outstanding products stands up to the extreme conditions, I'm betting for great results.
